4 · Full description
The SI Gateway puts your solar system in your pocket. It connects to your Sunsynk or Deye hybrid inverter over a single cable and streams live solar, battery, load and grid figures to the Solaire Intelligence app — or to any browser via the web portal. Single-phase and three-phase variants are available — choose yours when you order.
Unlike cloud dashboards, the SI Gateway is local-first: the intelligence lives on the device on your wall, not on a server overseas. There is no cloud account to create, no subscription to pay, and no dependency on someone else’s server staying online. If your internet goes down, monitoring and automations carry on running locally.
Installation is deliberately simple: mount the compact unit near your inverter, connect the supplied Ethernet cable to the inverter’s RS485 port, and plug in the supplied power supply. The app and the included quick start guide walk you through pairing it with your home WiFi — most owners are up and running in about 30 minutes. Opening the inverter’s wiring cover should be done by your solar installer or a registered electrician; the guide splits the job so that part takes them five minutes, and everything else is easy for anyone.
Run Home Assistant? The SI Gateway auto-discovers as a native ESPHome device — no add-on, no API key, no cloud bridge — and free ready-made dashboards are available from our GitHub repository. Home Assistant is a window and a remote control, not a dependency: unplug it and your system carries on exactly as before.

5 · Compatibility
Works with Sunsynk and Deye hybrid inverters via the RS485 port, in both single-phase and three-phase systems. Each gateway is supplied for the phase configuration you order, so tell us whether your system is single-phase or three-phase along with the inverter make and model.
Some inverter models share the battery-comms and RS485 socket — an RS485 splitter is available from us if yours does. Not sure which you need? Contact us before ordering and we will confirm.
